Just spent a few hours manually deleting a ton of activity stream spam on bp.org. I took an hour on Monday to delete 200 spam groups too. This reinforced my urge to move to CPT in 1.4 so we can inherit all of the admin interface options for mass item moderation and deletion. Going through each item one by one is awful when there’s this much spam getting through. Yes, the best thing to do is prevent the spam in the first place, but that’s getting harder and harder to combat considering a high percentage of it is entered by a real person.
