If you are the author of a plugin that adds settings to the user notification settings screen, you’ll want to have a look at changeset 3620. In order to allow super admins to have access to user settings, I had to change all references to $current_user to $bp->displayed_user. If your plugin copied the BuddyPress notification settings code (using $current_user), it must be updated to this new method by the time BP 1.3 comes out. (If you don’t, the super admin will always see/edit her own notification settings, no matter which user she is looking at.)
